Don Evans

As a former student of Elvino's (we called him Ed behind his back) at Ryerson back in the late '50s, I have always felt a great debt to him. He presented a 3-year course on the history of music to those of us enrolled in the Radio & Television Arts program; it was, far and away, the most intellectually stimulating and valuable (not to mention entertaining) academic material provided to us in those pre-university days at Ryerson. Thank you, Mr. Sauro, and Rest In Peace.
