Roy Inkster My X FIL (as I knew him)

Roy Inkster (as I knew him back then) was a great father in law; I was married to his son Gary back in 1970’s. He was a quiet man and he liked to tease me. I loved Gary’s parents from the beginning; I was welcomed in the family from the start. We would see them I think every weekend for meals and hockey games. It was just a regular routine we all had and enjoyed. I know he missed his wife Joyce as they spent a lot to time together. He hated to go grocery shopping every Friday after work. They spent a lot of time checking out different foods, up and down each aisle. He looked like he had lots of patience with her. He liked to listen to her play the piano. When our daughter Kim came along he loved to pick her up and talk to her. This was his first grandchild and he was proud of her. I thought of him often and I ask Gary or Kim how he was doing as the years passed by. He lived a good life I would say and had a great family to be proud of.
