Message: As well as being a solid family man and good friend Ted was a fantastic leader in the fire department. He led by example, never lost his composure and was always ready with a quick and often humorous comment. Leadership sat easily on his shoulders during all of the years he was chief of District One. It was a pleasure to serve with him as you knew he had the best interests of the the Town and the firefighters under his command as well as the entire fire department in general when he made a decision. He was a true and valued leader.
