Condolence: Hello Paul,
Maureen is one of my most memorable people in life. She always showed patience, kindness, compassion. She gave so many people a smile and an "oh yes Maureen, she is an amazing person and pilot". A deep sadness is left and I am so sorry for your loss. I am so lucky and grate full to have known her. Thank you.

Condolence: Paul and Family. Our deepest condolences for your loss. I worked as a CASI Inspector for Maureen for several years after transferring from Instrument Standards Division. We had many "Discussions", but always ended up with "agreeing results". What is not readily known outside the Transport Canada circle was that every TC Superintendent and some Inspectors from all the Regions in Canada would contact Maureen on a regular basis seeking advice and knowledge...That is how great she was at her career and she was equally great at all levels. She will be sorely missed and we shall keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time; GOD Bless, Sid & Gwen.

Condolence: Maureen was one of those people who would try and help people in any way she could. She will definitely be missed, and not just by BFC. She was a fixture in Ontario's general aviation scene. RIP Maureen.

Condolence: Web, very sorry to hear of Mo's passing. It's great to hear you had 44 years together which is the same as Ellen and I so we've got something in common. Hope you're well and enjoying retirement or semi retirement by now. I can still remember the times you walked in the door at 221 Ottawa and yelled "how ya doin Mrs K"? My mom got quite a kick out of you and the rest of the boys. Maybe some day we'll run into each other again, but look after yourself and we wish all the best for you.

Condolence: Paul and family, so sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. The four summers Maureen worked with the Air Cadets was most memorable. The officers and staff admired and respected her patience and knowledge. She has now earned her "Angel" wings!!

Condolence: To Paul and family. Very sad news. Maureen was a great lady, dedicated to her craft, extremely knowledgable, always helpful and with a wonderful sense of humour. I looked back through my logbook. Maureen renewed my instructor rating in February 1982. I also discovered a photo taken at a Flight Instructor Refresher Course in London in February 1983, which I have posted. We were very lucky to have Maureen as a senior instructor and flight test examiner at the Brampton Flying Club. She will be missed by all of us. Please accept my deepest condolences. Julie Pomeroy

Please accept our sincere condolences at this very sad news. Maureen was a lady of great intelligence and integrity, with genuine enthusiasm for aviation. Cornwall Aviation was one of the lucky schools under her care. We will never forget her sincere interest and kindness when we turned to her for advice. Our thoughts are with you at this very sorrowful time.

Condolence: Paul and Family, please accept my sincere condolences. I worked for Maureen for my first 13 years at Transport Canada. She was a great boss and very dedicated to Transport Canada and the Aviation Community. We shared crew duties on the King Air for many of those years and she was a "professional". I never saw Maureen smile as much as she did when she was sitting in the seat of an aircraft. Her love for flying was very obvious. Maureen will be missed by the aviation community and her extended family at Transport Canada.

Scott
