Life Story for Umberto Maria "Bert" D'Antini

Umberto Maria "Bert" D'Antini
Umberto D'Antini - Suddenly, on Tuesday March 10, 2015, Bert D'Antini died in Niagara on the Lake, at the age of 68. Bert was the son of the late Laura and Pasquale D'Antini, beloved husband of Judy Gans-D'Antini; father of the late Noel Gans, and of Jonathan Gans and his wife Kristy, grandfather of Nolan Hawk, brother of Mike D'Antini and his wife Nancy, uncle of Laura and husband Trevor, Adriana and husband Paolo, and great-uncle of Sophia, Felicia, and Michael.
There will be a visitation at Morgan Funeral Chapel, 415 Regent Street in Niagara on the Lake, on Sunday March 15, between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 73 Picton Street in Niagara on the Lake, on Monday March 16, at 11:00 a.m.
Whether he was extending kindness and affection with endless generosity, or sharing his keen intelligence with such characteristic modesty, Bert D'Antini held his family and friends close to his heart. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bert D'Antini Memorial Fund, so that his devotion and care for those in need of assistance can continue in his name. Donations can be made to the BDMF at CIBC 07672/74-94882.
The family is deeply grateful to the Niagara on the Lake Paramedics, Police, and Firemen, and to Dr. Karen Berti for her unending care.
