Life Story for Cdr. George Keith Inglis

Cdr. George Keith  Inglis
INGLIS, CDR George Keith - On Thursday, December 13, 2007. Keith peacefully passed away after a brief illness at St. Catharines General Hospital in his 91st year. Predeceased by his loving wife Florence and their daughter Carol Martin. Survived by his adoring granddaughter Alison, her husband Robert Robichaud and loyal son-in-law James Martin. Dear brother of Betty Caromicoli and the late Jean Pegg. Caring uncle to Jean Butter, Adam Caromicoli and George Pegg. Entered the Royal Canadian Navy on May 10, 1937 as Ordinary Seamen and served with honour until retiring on June 14, 1967, having attained the rank of Commander. Member of the Royal Arch Masons of Canada. Keith was a kind and loving friend to all those who knew him. He will be sadly missed.
A service celebrating Keith’s life will be held at the NIAGRA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent Street, on Wednesday morning at 11:30. Interment to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the Salvation Army.
