QUARRINGTON, John Arthur “Jock” – Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday June 9th, 2007 in his 84th year. Loving father of Iain (Shauna) and Mary Bégin (Alan Bradshaw). Beloved husband of Anna for 53 years. Loving grandfather and “Big-daddy” of Adrien, Eric, Nicolas, Justin and Adam. Jock was born in Glasgow, Scotland, immigrated to Canada in 1958, moved to Deep River in 1960, Ottawa in 1969 and retired to Niagara-on-the-Lake in 1985. In WWII he served in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy. A celebration of Jock’s life will be held at the NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent Street, Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. In memory of Jock, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
