GRETZINGER, Bruno – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, surrounded by family, on Monday April 2, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Adella for 67 years. Loving father of Ken (Cindy), Dianne McGinn (Lawrence), Janet Marcynuk (Ed) and Gary. Proud grandfather of Jeremy (Sue), Benjamin (Nicola), Neal (Amy), Ryan (Renée), Holly (Graham), Jessica (Rob), Kevin, Sarah, Adam; step-grandfather of Selena (Trevor), Heather (Larry) and Bonnie (Anton); and great-grandfather of 21. Dear brother of Benjamin, brother-in-law of Donna Gretzinger and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 11 siblings. Bruno lived in Niagara-on-the-Lake where he ran the John Deere dealership for many years. He was a 40 year member of the German Village and president for 2 terms.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Niagara–on-the-Lake, Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 11 a.m. In memory of Bruno, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
