SMITH, Murray J. - Murray passed away peacefully on January 14, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton in his 82nd year. He was the loving husband of Katherine Smith (nee Fraser), beloved father of Kimberley Smith (Henry Fehr) , Kevin Smith (Valerie) and proud grandfather of Joanne, Colton and Robynne. Brother of Thora MacDonald (Floyd) and Mary Fullerton (Jim) he was predeceased by his brother George (Marie) and his sisters Betty Kump (John) and Thelma McKinnon (Matt). He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many cherished friends.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place on the proposed date of July 2nd. For those who wish, memorial donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or to Parkinson’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.
