DICKINSON, Eleanor Hope - It is with great sorrow that we announce that Eleanor Hope Dickinson passed away quietly at Linhaven Home on December 23, 2017 in her 92nd year. She is predeceased by her loving husband George, and her parents William and Eva Shipman; brother Bert, sisters Joan and Barbara; and loving son Paul. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Debbie Feltham, Joanne Dickinson and Barbie Schmidlin. Loving grandmother of Phillip, Mark, Jennie, Jessica, Paul, Samantha and Zachary. Cherished great grandmother to Scarlette and Zoey. We would like to thank the staff at Linhaven Home for their care and compassion over the years.
In keeping with Eleanor's wishes cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday afternoon, January 2, 2018 at 1 o’clock at the MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to either Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto or to the War Amps Foundation.
