Life Story for James Michael Cohen

James Michael Cohen
COHEN, James Michael - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James on August 28, 2017 at Hospice Niagara, the Stabler Centre. Born in Maidenhead England in 1942, Jim was the beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Loach) for 43 wonderful years, proud and loving father of Andrew (Alexis) and Nicholas (Ksenia) and grandfather of Henry and Ernest. Jim is survived by his sister Celia Hillier and his brother in law Paul Loach. He will be fondly remembered by many, nephews, niece, extended family and friends.
A successful senior management career in the corporate travel industry enhanced opportunities for Jim and Carolyn to travel to many countries of the world. Later,Jim enjoyed a retirement adventure working at one of Niagara Region’s premier wineries.
We thank our loving family and friends for their continuous support during Jim’s illness. Thank you also to the wonderful staff of CCAC (Marek and Cathy especially) and to the incredibly capable, caring and compassionate staff at the Stabler Centre, Hospice Niagara.
At Jim’s request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will occur in several weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stabler Centre would be appreciated.
