Condolences

Condolence From: Greg Spurgeon
Condolence: My sincerest belated condolences to Johanna and all Jennifer's family and friends too numerous to count ... I only heard the sad news today in 2017.

I had the privilege to work closely with Jennifer for some years at the National Gallery of Canada, and admired her as a colleague and treasured her as a friend. Only last summer, just days before her retirement, we met in front of my house on Stewart Street in Sandy Hill and shared a hug over the memory of a mutual friend who had passed in March. Little did I think that Jennifer would follow so soon ... too, too soon.

Jennifer, you are and will continue to be greatly missed. Sweet dreams!

Greg

Condolence: Jennifer I am so sad that we lost you so young. You were a dedicated professional, so bright and yet understated. I loved your wicked sense of humour. I was so looking forward to spending time with you in your new place in NOTL. It just was all so fast.

Best... Robin Sellar

Condolence: Too short a time to get reacquainted with a "sister". She was a wonderful, energetic, caring person that I am privileged to have known. Retirement and time with family was all to short. She will be greatly missed.

Mary Ellen and I wish to offer you condolences on the unexpected (for us) passing of your mother. We first met her in Florida at a McRostie reunion many years ago and have always enjoyed the times we have met since.

Condolence: I was so sorry and shocked to hear of Jennifer's passing. We only met this past summer and we quite enjoyed one another's company. I was looking forward to her settling into her home in NOTL and having the opportunity to spending more time with her.

Condolence: I"m very sorry for the loss of your mother she was the most compassionate and understanding person I've ever had the privilege to meet. Of all the people to go too soon she would be at the top of my list. She loved to plan and organize and truely loved the journey, simply a lovely human being.

Condolence: So sorry to hear this news. I worked with Jennifer at the House for a number of years. She was such a unique and wonderful person with a sense of humour that was amazing. As a professional colleague, she was above reproach with a calm equilibrium and approach to work and life.

Jennifer, fair winds and following seas on your new journey.
