Walter F.  Gamula
GAMULA, Walter – Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday September 17, 2016 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Olga (2014). Loving father of Fred (Karen), Lisa Whillans (Brian) and Brian. Dear grandfather of Ashley (Paolo), Jordan and Kylie. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Mary. Dad was an electrician by trade working many years at Ferranti-Packard; retired from GM in 1992 after 29 years of service. He graduated at the top of his class from the St. Catharines Flying Club in 1961. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital ER, 2A and 4A, as well as Dr. Heritz, and especially Dr. Chauhan for their care and compassion.
A private family interment will be held at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. A reception will be held at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Friday September 23 from 1-3 p.m. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
