SMITH, Evelyn - It is with great sadness the family of Evelyn Irene Smith announce her sudden passing on February 24, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Robert S. Smith. Loving mother of Patricia (Larry), Paul (Gina) and Michael. Cherished grandmother of Robert, Matthew, Alexis, Craig, Lindsay, Bradley and Raymond and great grandmother of 10. Survived by her sister Joan Sandford (late David). She will be remembered as a caring mother, doting grandmother and a first-rate knitter of her Irish knits for the whole family.
The family will receive friends at the Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2nd. A service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 41 Byron Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3rd with interment to follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
The family wish to express a special heartfelt thanks to all staff at the Royal Henley St. Catharines.
