David D. S.  Evans
EVANS, David D.S. - Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Chateau Gardens, Niagara-on-the-Lake, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Barbara for 59 years. Loving father of Tony, Mark and Gillian. Predeceased by his adored sister Diana Kettlewell and his parents Rev. David and Katharine Evans. David served as a Flight Lieutenant during World War II in the Royal Air Force and trained in Canada. David was a member of the International Rotary Club for many years. He was an entrepreneur and owned his own business of specialty crested products in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
A service to celebrate David’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 41 Byron St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
