KONIK, Ludminia “Minnie” - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ludminia “Minnie” Konik, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Chartwell Niagara, Niagara-on-the-Lake, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Walter Sr. Konik (Feb. 26, 2005). Dear mother of Rodney (Helen), Walter (Marian), all of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Richard (Carlisle), Rome, NY and Pam Stewart (Jim), St. Catharines. Loving grandmother of John-Paul Konik (Corri), Eric Konik, Lindsay Konik, Amanda Konik, Melissa Konik, Shane Dibble and Earl Dibble. Great grandmother of Jaelen, Olivia, Tyler, Gabriel, Evan, Harley, River and Kyla and the late Janessa. Ludminia leaves behind many nieces and nephews in the United States. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent St., Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow and a private family burial to take place at a later date in Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy those who wish may make a memorial donation to either Newark Neighbors or St. Vincent de Paul Parish – Alms Account.
