KUNNAPUU, Lucie “Mumsy” - On Thursday, September 24, 2015, passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Rein; loving mother of Raymond (Carmen) and Loretta Piitz (Craig); cherished mumsy to David, Alex (Jennifer) and Tiiu (Todd), doting great grandmother to Jasper and dear sister of Hilda Lapinas (Zigmas). Fondly remembered by her niece and a nephew (predeceased). Lucie was a longtime member of I.O.D.E. and was an active volunteer with the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital Auxiliary. Lucie had many interests including gardening, designing her own patterns, sewing, playing the piano and painting.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
