DULEWICZ, Zofia – Passed away peacefully, in her 90th year, at Upper Canada Lodge (NOTL) on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Predeceased by Zygmunt, her beloved husband of 56 years. Cherished mother of Danuta (John) Bortolussi, Jeanie (Vito) Bennici, Richard (Patricia), and Stephanie (Andrew) Fuller. "Babcia" will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Robert, Kevin, Christopher (Christina), Joya (Nico Marino), Juliana (Kevin Julian), Austin and great-grandchildren Ella, Sophie, Luca, Noah, Hayden and Jayda. Also missed by her niece Marysia (Stefan) Talbierz and many nieces and nephews in Poland. Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Regina Judka, 8 siblings and infant twin granddaughters Sandy Lynn and Tracy Lynn. Zofia survived World War II in Germany as a prisoner of war, and followed her husband to Canada to raise their family. She lived for nine years in Niagara Falls and eventually came to farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She will be remembered by the local farming community as hard-working and as a market vendor in the communities of Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Guelph and Mississauga (Square One). When not working Zofia’s favourite pastime was Bingo! The family will receive friends at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church (NOTL). Rite of Committal will follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In memory of Zofia, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
