Condolence: Dear Bonnie and family:
Over the last four years John has been our builder/repairer/renovator of choice for two properties. The last room he did still smells new, as it was only three or four weeks ago. He was coming back in Jan. to do another. John was always reliable, did good work on time for a good price, not something one always finds in the building trades. He was an uncomplicated tough yet gentle guy, who took pride in his work, loved his family, dogs, and motorbikes.

There is a small piece of quarter round not quite perfect that I was going to mention in Jan. I think I will leave it, and it will always make me smile remembering how annoyed with himself he got if he missed a detail!

Best wishes and God bless as you work through this difficult time.

Daryl

Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of John's sudden passing. We only met John this past October as he was doing renovations for us over on Lower Canada. He was so upbeat and postive - a true pleasure to have working in our home. Our condolences to his family who meant so much to him.

Condolence: We are all so shocked by the sudden loss of John. He was the best friend of my brother Art and he always felt like a part of our family. In fact he even called my mother mum when he saw her. He was often in the family home on Dixie Ave. and he somehow was always visiting at lunch or supper. He had amazing timing! We had MANY meals together! There are so many wonderful memories of John and we can be so thankful to have known him. He had a warm and friendly personality and a great sense of humour. Our prayers and thoughts are with Bonnie and the family. John will be greatly missed but his memory will last forever!

Condolence:
Heartfelt prayers of comfort towards the entire Vriens family and friends. I have much compassion for you all.

Though we only knew John for 2 weeks while he worked on the job we had for him, we were honored to have met him. He has left his fingerprints and memory in our home forever. John was an enabler, personable, professional and dedicated . He always had the time to stop what he was doing to listen or chat. His work refected how he took to tasks and relationships. He always gave his very best.

It was easy to see that he was not only responsible, but commited towards his family and friends. I recall his satisfying smirk as he proudly showed pictures of his much loved family. He was so proud of his wife Bonnie, his children, and of course the baby who clearly owned his heart.

John will be missed by us all, however, please remember, love is eternal and remains. It just has changed.

John was a very rich man. John loved deeply, and was so full of love for so many. He also was blessed with so many that truly and sincerely loved him, just as deeply. There could be nothing more important than this., not even his Harley. Johns life was condensed, but it showed itself full of happiness and pleasures.

To Johns mother., I'm so sorry..there are no words to be found. You should know he told me he loved his mother when he spoke of your trip to California. You did a good, no excellent.. job of raising a gentleman.

May Gods peace and presence assure you all in your times of need. Amen
