VRIENS, John A. – Suddenly, John passed away on November 23, 2014 at the age of 54 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Bonnie for 32 years. Amazing father “Daddo” to Leanne Meleskie (Jason), Jessica Vriens (Jason Reynolds) and the late Derek John Vriens (1985). Proud “Pops” of Colton Meleskie. Cherished son of Corrie Vriens and the late Albert Vriens. John will be dearly missed by his brothers, Rodney (Cheryl), Steve (Janet), Jeff (Nic) and the late Richard Vriens; mother and father-in-law Judy and Ted VanBerlo; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
May you “Ride Free” until we meet again.
Cremation will take place. Family will receive friends at the MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 415 Regent Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Wednesday November 26th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11:00. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
