QUINN, Gordon Vincent – In his 71st year passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on May 20th, 2009, leaving his wife Evelyn Dora (nee Overholt). Father of Kathy (Dave) Price, John Quinn, Karen (Mike) Mitruk, James Quinn, Kelly (Robert) Crittenden and Kimberly Windsor. Survived by brother, Thomas (JoAnn) Quinn, sister, Elizabeth (the late Thomas) Gaspich, sister, Viva (Richard) Norton, many grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Gordon is predeceased by his parents John and Mary Quinn, sister, Margaret (Les) Milroy, brother, Mark (Bertie) Quinn, brother, Lawrence Quinn, Brother James (Irene) Quinn, sister, Mary (Burley) Freel, and sister, Ann.
Family will receive friends at the NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent Street, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock with prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Picton Street, Niagara-On-The-Lake. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, or to a charity of ones choice.
