ZATILLA, Antonio (Toni) – On Tuesday July 24, 2007, Toni died at Chateau Gardens in his 83rd year. He will be sadly missed by his life partner Margo Fyfe, Niagara-on-the-Lake, his step-daughters Heather and Sherry, his sister Angela Corak, of Croatia, nephews Ivan and Anton Zahtila and their families in Hamilton and cousins in France, Italy and Istria. Throughout Toni's life he was employed as a coal miner and a stationary engineer. He was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 124. Toni was an avid Hunter.
A funeral service was held on Thursday July 26, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Home, 415 Regent Street. A private entombment was held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In memory of Toni, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Lincoln County Humane Society.
